As a co-founder of EBS, Chris manages all aspects of client service and outcomes, as well as drive the information technology initiatives for EBS’s proprietary financial models. Chris has invested 30 years in the executive benefits field. Formerly, he was a Managing Director of Retirement Capital Group; an SVP-Consultant for Clark Consulting; a Principal of Lyons Compensation & Benefits; a consultant in estate and business continuity planning with the “M” Financial Group; a Strategic Planner with Pepisco; and a Systems Analyst with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance.

Chris earned his BA in psychology from Clark University and an MBA with distinction from Cornell University. A lifelong learner, he’s active in the Northeast Human Resource Association and World at Work. Chris and Marybeth, his wife, put four children through college, then left the suburbs for the vibrancy of urban Boston. Chris ran his first Boston Marathon in 2016, whetting his appetite for more. The Wyrtzens travel annually to Europe with extended family and plan to visit all 44 European countries.

As a co-founder of EBS, Chris leads the benefits consulting practice in Boston and oversees best practices across EBS’s seven offices nationally, along with Chris Wyrtzen. For more than two decades, Chris has established himself as a leader in executive benefits consulting. Previously, he served as Managing Director with Retirement Capital Group; an SVP-Consultant with Clark Consulting; a Founding Principal of Lyons Compensation & Benefits, sold to Clark in 2001; and a Tax Partner with Ernst & Young in Providence, RI.

Chris holds a BA in economics from Colgate University and an MBA in from Boston College, as well as a Master of Science in Taxation from Bryant College. His professional designations include CPA, CFP®, and CLU. In the U.S. Army, he served as an Airborne Infantry Platoon Leader. Chris and Ginny, his wife and a nurse practitioner at Boston Children’s Hospital, raised three talented children who participate with them in cycling tours, skiing, rowing and autocross racing.

Bill weighs in on complex cases and marketing initiatives for EBS. Over his decades-long career, he founded three leading firms in the executive compensation and benefits industry: Compensation Resources Group, Inc. (CRG); Retirement Capital Group, Inc. (RCG); and the Merrill Lynch Executive Compensation Group. In 2012, Bill founded PleinAire Strategies, revenue growth consultants, which he manages simultaneously while working at EBS. Bill has built an enviable reputation for innovation in executive benefits for innumerable public and privately held firms.

He wrote Retain Key Executives, a breakthrough compendium published by Commerce Clearing House on the recruit-retain-reward challenge; MERGE, Simplify the Complex Sale and MERGE 2.0, New Strategies to Pinpoint How Prospects Buy. He lectures at the Conference Board, World at Work, Forbes CEO Forum, and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). A marketing graduate of Northeastern University and Harvard Business School’s President’s Program on Leadership, Bill lives in Indian Hills, CA with Eileen, his wife. They raised two accomplished children and now enjoy the rewards of five grandchildren.

He earned his BS in finance from Arizona State University, and the CLU and ChFC professional designations. Don resides in San Diego with Melissa, his wife, and two daughters. He’s a board trustee for the Social Advocates for Youth, a golfer, skier and believer in the timeless quote: Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence . . .”

He launched his career in professional services with Arthur Andersen in the audit and business consulting practices. Later, he held a leadership role at Resources Global Professionals advising C-suite executives on financial operations, strategy, process re-engineering, audit, and corporate governance with firms throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Trevor earned his BS in accounting from the University of Southern California Leventhal School of Accounting. A proud, fifth generation Southern Californian, Trevor, along with his wife and children, live in Orange County and enjoy traveling together.

Chris W. Rich joined EBS in 2021 as Managing Director for our Boston office. Chris focuses on the design, funding, implementation, and administration of select executive retirement, retention and performance-incentive plans. He develops these plans to attract, retain and reward key talent.

Chris is also responsible for the analysis and review of existing executive benefit plans, performance and restricted equity compensation plans, as well as education for producers outside the executive benefits space.

Prior to joining the financial services industry, Chris built a successful career in the automotive sector, managing dealerships for auto groups owned by both public and private corporations.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Boston College and resides in Providence, RI with Meghan, his wife. They enjoy New England outdoors, cycling, skiing, and travel.

Glen joined EBS in 2018 and brings his considerable expertise drawn from 35 years in compensation and benefit structures of not-for-profit organizations. He specializes in advising non-profit executives, and affiliated physician groups, on innovative compensation and benefits strategies for integration with retirement plans and estate planning. Further, Glen is a master designer of advanced financial transactions for individuals and businesses of substantial net worth.
A guest lecturer, Glen speaks before accredited seminars and conferences on various financial, retirement, and tax planning topics. He is also on the Boards of Directors of several charities and planned-giving committees, and active in local, national and international professional associations. He holds the professional designations of Registered Financial Consultant and Certified Senior Advisor. Glen is fluent in Spanish and Japanese, a competitive tennis player, and lives with his wife and two children in Asheville, NC and Boca Raton, FL.

Hugh opened the EBS office in Richmond in 2015. With a career spanning 35 years in financial services, he cultivated a niche in insurance, risk management, investment management, and finance. He consults with corporate and private clients on best practices for executive benefits, retirement planning, and the design, implementation, and funding of deferred income plans, supplemental executive retirement plans, and other special nonqualified executive/owner strategies.
An entrepreneur at heart, Hugh founded several successful start-up companies including Clark/Bardes Mid-Atlantic, Inc., Interjet Aviation Group, and First Landing Capital Partners, LP. He earned his BA in math and history from the University of Virginia, later completing graduate studies at the Aetna Insurance School in Hartford, and the Insurance Institute in New York. Hugh also holds the Series 7, Series 66 professional designations, and is a licensed insurance broker. Hugh and Marie, his wife, live in Richmond, raised four grown children, and devote time to charitable endeavors such as education for children of families with limited means. Marie practices law, specializing in tax, executive compensation, and compliance.

Bob holds the professional designations of CLU and ChFC. He earned a Master in Financial Services from The American College and a BS in business and economics from Lehigh University. He lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and son. An avid runner, yoga practitioner, and squash player, he also serves as the Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution.

Recently, he co-authored a book with Michael Graham entitled, Executive Benefits and Perquisites Rewards.

A founder of Capital Financial Group, a Consultant with Clark Consulting, and a former Managing Director of Retirement Capital Group, Robert joined EBS in 2013. He earned an undergraduate degree from Loras College and holds the CLU professional designation from the American College. Robert and Margie, his wife, raised four children “who never disappoint.”

Megan’s prowess at marketing enhances EBS’ brand value. She manages such client-facing assets as the website, content development, and distribution, and a rapidly expanding email contact list, which has grown tenfold under her management. Prior to EBS, Megan served as a senior employment consultant for four years at Best Buddies Massachusetts, a non-profit dedicated to placing adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in the employment community. She maintained a full caseload, placed numerous adults in new jobs, and was promoted twice during her tenure.

Megan holds a BA in sociology, with a minor in business management, from Emmanuel College in Boston. She also volunteers as a head coach for Special Olympics basketball for four years’ running and enjoys annual travel to Europe with her extended family.

A seasoned executive in executive benefits and wealth transfer planning, Karl brings 30 years of experience to the EBS client family. Previously, he led the case design team at Financial Architects, a national estate planning firm that develops large life insurance portfolios for the ultra-affluent; as a Vice President at John Hancock where he built its corporate-owned-life insurance unit and, subsequently, led its small group long-term care effort; and with the “M” Financial Group in estate and business continuity planning.

Karl holds a BA from Merrimack College and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business, as well as several professional designations: CFP®, CLU, ChFC, CLTC. Karl and Tracy, his wife, raised six healthy children, leaving scant time for his favorite pastime—oyster farming on the Weskeag River in South Thomaston, Maine.

Brady C. Wyrtzen joined EBS in 2023 as Manager, Case Design & Strategic Development. In his dual role, Brady serves as the coordination hub of all case design projects and spends time on projects meant to enhance current business opportunities and stimulate future growth.

Prior to joining EBS, Brady forged a cross-industry career in corporate and talent services, developing expertise in employee engagement, communications, and diversity, equity and inclusion. His new role represents a return to the financial services industry, as he began his career as a transfer agent at State Street Bank before transitioning to Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Brady earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics from Brown University and resides in Cohasset, MA, with his husband, Chris. Outside of sailing and swimming at the beach with his golden retriever, Orlagh, Brady devotes his free time to service for nonprofits and social causes, including Fenway Health, for which he serves as the Co-Chair of the Young Leaders Council’s Steering Committee.

Her 20 years of extensive experience in deferred compensation plan designs for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations positions Bonnie to lead and manage all plan administration from concept to completion, down to the smallest details.

She joined EBS shortly after it was founded and played an instrumental role in the creation of the National Client Service Center, located in Dallas. Formerly, Bonnie held a pivotal position with Clark Consulting, focusing on executive life insurance plans and COLI administration. She graduated with honors from American Intercontinental University’s School of Business, where she earned her degree in business administration.
